High octane in 2 stroke

As most of you know, i am going to be getting my NSR tomoro morning, and as its a 2 stroke, i am unsure if putting high octane fuel in it, what it will do.

as high octane fuel stops premature detonation, anti knock and so on.

would it do any damage to my 2 stroke bike or make it run badly?

now if im correct, 2 strokes spark just AFTER the down stroke of the piston, so if i put high octane fuel with the antiknock properties, will it try and stop the engine fireing properly or would i have to do something with the ignition timings?

(i know this i a car forum but the Mods and OG seem to know there stuff)

High octane will not damage and engine it is using to low an octane that will. Check the manual - and stick with the recommended fuel. Generally if the bike is built to run on 95Ron you will be wasting your money on Super unleaded. (Don't know much about 2 stroke engines though myself;))
