Hi and welcome |B

Can you explain why you want to add complication to what is a fast car already?

Hi and welcome |B

Haha. Like I need a (logical) reason...
1. The dropoff of torque (not power) frustrates me a bit. No different from ringing out say a k20 honda, most bike engines.
2. Losing the a/c comoressor

Compressor and adding minimal pipework and wastegates is not complicated (for my mechanic)
3. Getting transitional mapping prob very doable by reputable mappers but is a sticky but solvable concern.
4. Substantial torque increase below full spool and dropping full spool threshhold say 750-1000 rpm are just as welcome side benefits
5. The evo has near perfect steering, handling, (suspension) so getting the motor to nirvana spec squares the circle in my opinion
6. Low down torque, response, torrent of torque ramping up on full spool can be used 24/7 without (too) mad speed.
7. Why not?
8. Because (someone way cleverer than me) can
9. You only live once
10. I like being different and pioneering ( though it's been done before just not much)
11. If it works out well others can access white collar engine characteristics for (almost and relatively speaking) blue collar money.
12. 360 bhp felt nippy not fast, 600 bhp feels pretty quick but not scary fast (unless down a b road....)
13. I cant afford a ferrari ? 812/ mclaren 765lt

Had a motorsport friend who had a twin charged 4AGE in a Datsun 1200 coupe and it was really fast but haven't seen him or the car for some time.
When I drove my Turboed RWD car I was usually in a lower gear to minimize lag.
