Hi I have an Accord 97 and need to change brake discs.

I have a Honda Accord R reg and need to change my front discs. I cant get the spacer of the hub. I undo the 4 bolts and tried to tap it off but nothing happens. I have looked around the area for any more bolts but couldn't find any. Could any1 please give me some advice.

There appears to be 4 bolts to the rear.

Did it work?? I changed discs to every corner, and front discs were very difficult. Ask if there is any problems left.

if its just the disc you need to change then it should just be a case of wheel off and undo the screw ( think its a phiips head size 3) but be warned you will have getting that off i went through a can on each side on my civic getting them off

im basing this on the 5 cars ive changed disc on ( 2 of which wre hondas, '90 prelude and 97 civic )

I guess this is why the rotor over hub conversion is such a popular mod on Accords. Makes brake maintenance so much easier.

Might have to look into doing this when I upgrade.
