I’ve got a 2014 S3. The ECU failure light came up, and cad went into limp mode! I got it to an Audi specialist, and it appears cylinder 1 has a loss of pressure! Garage said I need a new engine! Just bought another engine and am having the same problem, cylinder 1 has no pressure at all! I’m completely spent out on this car and haven’t a clue what the problem is...any one got any ideas, I know Jack sh*t about cars and feel like burying my head in the sand

So sorry for my very slow reply, I've been busy updating the site framework and chasing bugs. Hopefully we are there now, with a much faster more efficient site and server.
Did you use the old headers and manifold? Could be a cracked manifold or cracked head. Bad plugs can cause a loss of pressure. Did you reset the ECU - it could still be showing the old error code.
I'm sure you'll fit in just fine and look forward to Talking Cars with you.
