I have a 91 Nissan 300ZX TT. exhaust has been modified 3" straight no Cat's to dual 4" Cat Back mufflers. The stock exhaust had 1' openings before/after the cats now these 1" ports are standing open. They look as if their running to the vacuum system of the car in different area's doesn't seem to effect the performance or drive ability. Question should these ports be capped or left open.

I would leave it as it is if it's not affecting anything. My guess is this design stops excessive crank case pressure and will probably aid the warm up of the engine. I am not that familiar with these engines. So if you find anything conclusive out please let me know, you have intrigued me.
