Hi mates. I found this on ebay today. What do you think about it? Is it fake or real. There are thousands of these everywhere, but this one seems kind of trustfull :) If it is working it is good price for 12 BHP. Also do you know some company which is selling remaped ECUs for Mi16? Maybe my friend has remaped ECU form WOLF on his Escort RS2000 and it works awesome. So if there is something simmilar it will be cool. Thanks guys

if its on ebay i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole mate.
most of these performance chips are just a simple resistiors incased in a lot of hotglue with connectors on the end. put nicly a trip to the scrappy and an electronics store you could build one for a couple quid.
it does work, but not 12bhp, it works by confusing the ECU into thinking the air is colder than it really is, this injects more fuel. the other way that they can work is by connecting to the fuel rail and leaving the injectors open longer.
ether way both WILL damage your engine

thanks mate. So is there some other way how to give some extra power to my engine, without doing some radical cahnges on my engine? I am thinking about ECU because i already made induction system from filter till Remus exhaust. So now i want to tune it just electronically. I was thinking abou Dimma, Ecosse or something, if they are doing some chips. :)

Badger knows quite a bit about the MI16 engines. See the thread in our Peugeot forum about the 205 Mi16 conversion for some tips on modding this great little engine.

Mi16 are great engines man....personallyI would get cams and stuff before a remap...on an NA engine the gains wouldn't be worth it if thats all you plan to do

but in answer to the original question....yes you can
