Hello and a very warm, welcome to TorqueCars from me the admin!

So sorry for my very slow reply, I've been looking after my mum who is very poorly at the moment - family always comes first.

I'm sure you'll fit in just fine and look forward to Talking Cars with you.

I like the sound of this project, and don't worry about people giving you a hard time, thats the sort of thing you get on single make and model forums, we love diversity and respect ALL car projects.

Which engine does your Saturn have?

Are you thinking twin turbo or supercharger? Swapping out the aircon for a supercharger is a fairly simple swap as the pulleys are all there, and you free up some space taking out the aircon pump.

What mods have you done already and which ones do you recommend? What things would you like us to cover in our articles on the main site? - Feedback from our members greatly shapes what content we research and provide.

Keep reading the articles on our site and this forum... you'll pick up loads of good common sense tips and don't be afraid to post questions, were all here to share our knowledge and experience.

We run a really fun and interesting car community and many have said we're the friendliest around, always ready to help out where we can.

Enjoy your time with us, post loads and feel free to ask any questions or begin new threads and discussions. We're always interested to hear your comments and views on our existing topics and in the hot polls.

LThanks for the warm welcome. I completely understand and agree that family certainly come first. I care for my 88 or old grandmother who suffers from dementia. I drive my van 80 miles round trip 3 days a week from Austin to Georgetown and back to Austin every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday in the wee hours of the morning until late after noon so she may remain in her home. She lives with 2 of her sons (my uncles) who on those days have to go to work outside of their home so I step in until they return home (2am until 2pm).
I actually have a 2001 Honda Odyssey with a 3.5L FI SOHC VTEC 6cyl engine & have put a lot of miles on my van over the last 4 years. When it started caring for my grandmother, my van had a little over 150,000 miles and now its has just over 220,000 miles. My project is literally to keep my van running so I can safely get to and from Austin to Georgetown so I can continue assisting with her car. I recently repaired a major oil leak and replaced the power steering pump. I'm thinking I should tune up the engine next and once I completely a detailed inspection of all the hoses, sensors, vacuum lines ect, then I plan on replacing the a/c lines so I can hopefully recharge the system to be able run the air conditioner once again.
I look forward to discovering more thru this website & am excited about the opportunity to participate in this forum. My dad owned & operated an upholstery shop in Austin for over 35 years & I grew up learning the trade. In experienced in automotive & marine upholstery including convertible tops as well as commercial business & home furnishings. For those needing information on upholstery projects, I'm willing to help.
Than you again for the warn welcome & I look forward to sharing & seeking information thru this website.
