fto car of the year
Hi. My name is Stephen and I live in the uk.

My car is a GPX Limited Edition "COTY" (1995)

I have owned this car for ten years, I am the first uk owner, and the car is in Mint condition and has only done 46,000 miles, and came with service history from Japan.

I am trying to find out how many are left in the world, on line it says I am the owner of one in the uk and northern Ireland.

Is their away of checking other countries to see who has one.

I have been told next year the car will be classed as a classic car with it being 25 Years old and in time will be worth good amount of money if kept in the condition it is now.

Many Thanks

Its a Mitsubishi FTO GPX MIVEC, CAR OF THE YEAR. Limited Edition
They only made 207 of these cars back in 1995
Nick Name FTO COTY

Who told you that? Insurance companies dont make everything over 25 years a "classic". If it was an owners club then you may have something.

A Mitsubishi FTO.
Some insurers do allow allow all cars over 25 years onto a classic policy, but as you point out not all do.
