Hello - first time Golf owner

Picked up a mk6 2.0TDi GT factory standard. Love the clean lines & the way it pulls from low revs.

I’m thinking about the 170 remap. Are any other mods required eg. performance air filter, injectors to make the remap as successful as poss??

Any strong opinions or experiences on remap versus tuning box??
