Evening Everyone,

Its a pleasure to join your boards, I am looking forward to getting involved in your community and getting the help I desperately need modyifying my car from people who hopefully know more than I do.

A Little about me and my car...

I am unforutanely old enough to be from the original Max Power era and like everyone back then I had a few cosmetically modded motors but after a decade or more break of company cars I am now looking to get back into modding with a cheap project car I picked up for the occasional motorway/A-road run to the office and back.

So back in May I picked up a 2011 Vauxhall Insignia VXR NAV Turbo 4x4 (2.8T V6) with a little over 30k on the clock for 10k with full service history (serviced every 3000 miles) and a brand new Haldex system (which is essential, I did my research). I realise this isn't the most popular go to car with a majority people opting for the Audi S4 but I didnt want something everyone else has and unless you care about the badge on the front, which I don't, the Insignia VXR ticks all the boxes and is a great starting platform, or at least thats I thought, but it turns out, despite it being in the BTCC finding upgraded parts for it is a nightmare, I should of gone with a Impreza lol

Since I bought the car I have made a few changes which are as follows:

Performance Mods

Secondary Exhaust Decat
Performance Air intake pipe
Upgraded MAP Pipe
K&N Air Filter
Engine Remap
Upgraded Rear Clutch with racing spec plates

Its Currently running 362bhp/560nm Torque

Cosmetic Mods

Kampala Rear Spoiler (Which I think I am going to change)
Headlight Brows

Interior Mods

New touchscreen central dashboard/computer
Upgraded doors speakers and put a 10" sub in the boot (Might be a little old for loud music but I have just got rid of my Velar which had 18 speakers and sounded amazing, the standard insignia speakers were horrific).

Already sourced and on the futures list (in no particular order) is a new lightweight Radiator & Racing intercooler, upgraded clutch, silicone hose kit, Road/Race Haldex ECU, Uprated Suspension

What I really need help with is the really serious stuff like somewhere (a garage) that can do engine strengthening, performance cams, upgraded turbo etc. I am hoping to get this to at least 600 bhp over the next year but that level of perofmance done properly is unfortunately beyond my capability, also anywhere which will do custom bodykits as theres nothing for the Insignia, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies, that introduction was a lot longer than anticipated, I promise to keep any future posts to a minimum :)
