So i'm looking to upgrade the power and fuel efficiency of my 2016 Peugeot 208 1.6 bluehdi 100. Basically i am looking for opinions on the best way to reduce the intake temperatures as i have read they are pretty high and i was also thinking of doing a remap. Is tere anyone here that might have an idea or some examples for routing the piping for a larger inntercooler? I am also looking for advice on what size intercooler might be best for my engine. The exhaust manifold and the downpipe were changed 6 months ago after a recall.

Thanks in advance!

Waynne the admin here and I would like to personally extend a sincere welcome to TorqueCars. I apologize for the delay in responding; I've had a really busy period recently, but I believe I've caught up now.

What's your budget and what are you aiming for? Thanks for the compliment, it makes the hard work really worthwhile.

A remap is a great idea, wrap the exhaust with thermal bandages to keep those under bonnet temps down as well. A front mounted intercooler is a good upgrade, but you'll need to cut the back of the front bumper to make it fit.

I'm sure you'll fit right in, and I'm looking forward to "talking cars" with you.

I enjoy the idea of this project, and I'm a big fan of automotive variety in whatever form it takes from cars to project ideas.
