Im James and just baught a mk4 Polo :bigsmile:
Its only the 8v, but what can you do when insurance is twice the value of the car :cheesy:

A Polo would of been luxury as a first car compared to some of the cars I and many others on here had to start with. I can recall in my list a Metro 1.3 city, a Morris Marina 1.3 and a Mk3 Escort 1.6 I bought for £50 from a friend. You'll get to your dream car or cars one day:amuse:

Its my second car that ive owned as ive just sold my 1974 hillman hunter which cost me more than its initial value in MIG wire, but i loved it until i had to commute 30+ miles in a less than reliable car with bucket seats and a fully stripped interior :p
Ill upload some pictures to this, or a more appropriate thread of the hillman and what i'd done when im back home.

Im currently selling some push bike parts in aid of some coilovers :)
