The recent models of BMWs all have curves, wavey lines and highly shaped lights.

Some love it, some like it and others hate it.

Do you think that the current BMW designers have lost the plot? Should BMW keep the round double headlights or is the new styles fine?

BMW's have always been fairly rare on the roads (relatively speaking). The new 1 series is probably the most radically different model to come out in years.

Thought when the new shape came out it looked like something that should be above on the moon, so many angles. I think with the older cars, E21's E30's etc. the 4 round lights were a sort of trademark to Bm, even though at the time other cars had them aswell. After a while the new shape does grow on you but personally I prefer the old look.

It seems they've lost the plot on nice pleasing lines,

The only "good looking" Beemers are the X5 and X6 now IMO.

The E46 was a landmark in nice car car body design and the M3 GTR version (4 Litre Motorsport V8) was something you'd want to donate body parts for.

But BMW sales here for example have increased over the last few years by about 60%.
