Hallo
I'm new here.
Most friends & people know me as Windgat Boerseun or MJ Biltong but my real name is Martin.
I'm originally from my DAD(101%TRUE Story haha).
I'm living in South Africa, Gauteng, Pretoria.
I'm 32 years old.
I'm Brought up on a farm & thought by my dad to love engines, speed, torque & neat looks.
I'm a big bike, car & bakkie enthusiasts and always like to upgrade them to one off a kind look and upgrades.
My new project that I want to start with is to do performance upgrades on the engine and beter drive terrain on my 2012 Single Cab Ford Ranger 2.5L XL i bought in 2013 from my friend and still have it.
Don't want to swap the engine i want to keep the ford 2.5L I4 DOHC 16V Petrol engine and upgrade it...

My ideas for my bakkie ARE :
To install a supercharger kit on the engine that will perfectly be suitable for the engine in my bakkie. And would like to get some advice and ideas from everyone what to do and how to do and where to get the spares and what everything to buy along with it to make the upgrade effective, reliable & efficient for a Single Cab Bakkie with BIg 285/75R17 Bf Goodrich tyers(that are big and heavy with a suspension lift kit) That will give my engine low end torque to atleast be able to drive on the highway in top gear (5th) at a 120-140km/ph range without having to gear down to overtake or having to downgear to keep the pace uphill.
Don't want to build a racing bakkie but a awsum 4cylender enough torque petrol bakkie from low down 1000 1500rpm up to a 4500rpm 5500rpm 6000rpm average torque range if possible...

Reason why i want to get the suitable supercharger kit is cause i dont want to do top ends and want instant lowdown torque...

Also want advice on if there is a other bakkie rear axle with limited slip dif or diff lock that wil assist and be 100% suitable for the setup that i can look into or even a 6speed manual 4x4 setup that wil fit into my ranger with the original engine.

The engine will be my main center point off attention thats why im keeping it cause off lots off people say no trough itvout put a v6 in or diesel in or v8 or lexsus in...

So i not going that route i want to build the 4 cylender and be able to show off and show everyone its easy to swap engine's but its a art building the standard original engine to meet yout personal requirements...

Thank you for reading this long trying to explain message that hopefully makes sense.

My English word choices and tenses and spelling aren't that good but I'm trying hahaha.

I'm Afrikaans so my posts or explanations will sometimes be difficult to understand , sorry for that.

Have a great evening futher as its now Sunday afternoon 15:41 here in South Africa
