h-22 no idle after mods

full skunk top end with full port job pro2 cams 70mmTB cannot get to idle. Any suggestions

Do you have a rough idle or does it just cut out and stall? Cams and ports are quite difficult to match up and i've seen quite a few rough running problems at low RPM when this is done.

What is the cam duration?

Have you checked for Vacuum leaks and cleaned and checked the idle control valve on the intake (this was on the back of the manifold but your mods might have moved it's location )

I have checked all the vacuum and ICV my timing is at 0.0 int exh. 270/280 new cam going to play with timing. but no idle have to manually keep running.

If you set a higher idle speed that might help. Most CAMS over 265 duration will have an erratic idle which most engine management systems can't cope with, the lads I know with fast road cams all have idles set to around 1000 rpm! (-+100) it depends also on your standard engines idle speed and how the manufacturer has set things up so sadly there is not a one rule for all fix.

I'm going to do a smoke test before I adjust the cams make sure I have no vacuum leak
