I now have myself a 2005 Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi Zetec

If this were your car and money wasn't an issue, what would you do to it?

This is only a bit of fun, go crazy!

Ok scrap it and buy an RS.

Change the clutch, turbo, intake, exhaust and remap to 300bhp and 500lbft. Then fit new suspension, brakes, gearbox and drive train to cope with it.

Oh and convert to 4wd.

I'd add loads of carbon fibre, strip out and retrim the interior in nice stitched leather.

Engine wise, bigger turbo, remap then you'd need a trick diff to put all that power down and should tweak the suspension.

Something like Waynne and Yugguy sugested about engine, than by RS and make transmission and brake swap while searching for Bilstein PSS9.
That way you could still tell everybody youre car is TDCI.

Sell it and buy a Focus RS if you want to to go really really really quickly. Else just get a decent remap and save some money for when the DMF collapes
