Thank you TC Forum for letting me join your feed.
Curently own a 98 Lexus GS300 and apart from the fuel consumption a beautifully tailored ride.

Hi and welcome|B :)

But what would you be doing with a water cooled carbie ?-/

When travelling up and down the west coast of Western Australia, Perth to Broome and back, I ceased the engine on my twin cab split screen Vee W ya .
It was the repairs to this truck that brought me into contact with a mechanic in his 60's (in 80/81) who had developed a proto type water cooled carbie (looked like a space disc) that cooled the fuel on intake, giving better fuel consumption on aspirated V8 engines. Of course you could go down the conspiracy route that it never saw the light of day..... who knows.
I never needed it at the time having an air-cooled engine....
Apologies for the ramble, I could have got 10 posts out of that.
