G.T.O. V8 Conversion

Hi. Guys.
I"m dwinderling with the idea of putting a inline V8 engine in my GTO with only rear wheel drive for drift racing, big job also if it can be fitted a porsche 944 gearbox. Anybody got any ideas if this would work? D.V.

There is a car in the States that has done an in line V8 conversion and I think that is RWD.
