Here you go mate. http://www.northamptonmotorsport.com/default.asp?id=1 These boys know their stuff and can help you out with what you need. They are rolling road and performance specialists and are based in Northampton mate... Hope this helps. :D:D:D

You know I'm going to say A3 A3 A3 A3. But then I'm biased. Turbo engines always give more tuning potential for you money. The Focus is a nice car.

I'd say have a drive of both before you decide. You might get on with one a lot more than another.

Personally the 1800 is ok ive had one before the ST but the tuning parts are very limited. If you can get the 2.0 lt there are far more options.

im only 19 lol i 1.8 is about my limit and as for the a3 i would love one but i would only be getting the 1.6 anyway because the insurance for a 1.8t is crazy. but what i mean is i know what can be done to a car just do you know what can be done to this car can the ecu me remapped because alot of comapanys say that only modern cars can be without buying a whole new system ??

I would imagine you could have a remap on 1999. Most ecu's nowadays are like learning computers so I would think that it could be done. Someone may well prove me wrong though...

well i was told my rover could not be remapped but that was a 1.4 1997 so there was little point anyway

Was it fuel injection? I think single point injection can't be remapped but i'm sure the multi point injection version can..
I could be wrong though. My primera is a 1998 an that can be remapped because it's a learning ecu. But it is also a 2 litre 16valve which is more complex that your average 1.2 or 1.4 so that may be the reason also...

it depends on the ecu to what cars can be mapped. all post 2002 have to hae diagnostic ports. 1999 may have 1 as thats when some manufactures started fitting them

Thats what I thought. Because my Primera has one an I knew it was around that year they started fitting them to most vehicles...
