Is there a tool around to help with fitting the large rear bushings on VAG Group cars? They seem pretty impossible to get in.

As far as I know you can get a tool to help you push them out but I cannot remember what it's called.

That's the one. Probably the sort of thing you'd borrow rather than buy as it puts the cost of doing the bushes up loads.
