ERG valve removal

Hi all. Just joined and would really apprecaite some help. My Accord 2.2 CDTi all of a sudden lost power today and after investigation by my local garage, I have been told that the EGR valve needs removing and cleaning out. Can anyone please point me in the direction of a walkthrough or give me some brief details on how to remove it please.

Mine is much different to that. Gonna be having a go at doing it tomorrow but dont know where to start really.
