ive got a problem with my polo, it starts but wont rev.
ive had a vag-com reader on it and it came with these codes.
18047- Accelerator Position Sensor 1/2
18039- Acceleration Pedal Sensor (g79) Signal Too High
18042- Acceleration Pedal Sensor 2 (g185) Signal Too High
16497- Intake Air Temp. Sensor (G42): Signal too High
16492- Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96): Signal too High
16505- coolent tempurature switch im guessing
16518- 02 sensor
16727- Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Signal too High
17834- Tank breathing valve -N80 open circuit
ive replaced the accelerator position sensor and the has made no difference. ive heard that if the 02 sensor shorts out then it can fry the ecu.
how do i go about cheacking the sensors and the wiring loom, i have removed the dash board anyway for a revamp, so i should have plenty off space to do it.
any help would be useful.
