Engine swap

Okay so i have an Audi A3 1.8, it’s not the T so it’s only at 125bhp and want to bump it up but since a turbo would be pointless I want to see which engines I could swap to add a bit of power, does anyone have any suggestions, also plan on doing a custom body kit if anyone has a good forum for that I’d be so grateful )

Thankfully most Audi engines will drop in as they use similar mounts, you'll need to get the ECU and sensors from the donor vehicle.

Why not drop in the 1.8T is really is a lovely engine to work on and offers loads of power. The newer 1.4T will be lighter and more powerful than a stock 1.8T.

Ignore the NASP 2.0 they don't offer much potential at all. The newer 2.0 TFSi is really nice but I imagine would be quite complex to transplant as it will pretty much fill the engine bay and you might have to relocate the battery.

Are you going widebody, that would look awesome on that shape A3.
