Engine swap on a polo tsi

First time poster here. I'm looking to do an engine swap for my 2015 polo 1.2l tsi, my goal is for this car to become a project car and eventually similar to a wrc polo with 4wd, I understand that this will be costly and I'll have to change a lot on the car but I'd just like to know what engine will be reliable under a bigger turbo and new transmission that will fit relatively easily into the engine bay of the polo.

The 1.8T conversion has been done many times over but the newer 1.4 TFSi engines are very similar in size and weight and would make a big power gain.

4WD conversion is an interesting project, the Golf 4 wheel drive train and gearbox might be the way to go. I think you can swap out your hubs for golf hubs but the driveshafts will likely need shortening.
