Have been told that it always comes in threes but I think that is not always correct 
1 Broke the diff in my track car.
2 Had the "small" open diff refitted in it while the hunt for parts for the " big" LSD diff went on and on my usual 10 klm lap around the block the throttle cable snapped @ the 1/2 way point so used a icy pole stick under the throttle stop to get home @ a much reduced pace
3 was at a hill climb 50 k's away and the battery in the remote went flat in my 4x4 tow car and the key wouldn't open the doors due to wear and had the AA man unlock the door.Was lucky that a chap knew him and while I wasn't a member he still came to the rescue.
4 Then was @ my car club and the 4x4 wouldn't start but after trying every switch etc eventually started and the problem turned out to be a faulty relay in the fuse box that was intermittently stopping the power to the glow plugs for a cold start.
The good news is that I found replacement diff gears for $100.00
