e46 cruise control

Hello there , i have a 2000 328ci auto and i would like to fit cruise control . I have seen the steering wheels with the control buttons on ebay , but what else do i need ?

If your car has a mechanical throttle then don't even think about this as a retofit. If it's a drive by wire arrangement then things should be easier but I don't have the actual details.

My 528i (steptronic auto) has cruise as standard, as did my previous two cars (so ten years worth of driving with cruise) and in truth it's not as useful as you'd think in Britain.
