Do you have any special driving clothes that you wear on long journeys?

Gloves, special shoes, fabric preference?

Or is this just a girl thing? ;)

Same here - I generally wear trainers all the time anyway.

Have driven in wellies once in a while and I don't recommend it.

Also leather soled dress shoes are rubbish. Feet slide off the pedals

I once drove up my drive then back down again as I wanted to see what driving in flip flops was like and it was horrible.

I like to drive in anything that won't end up strangling my nuts.

no nothing special, although i dont drive my car in my work boots they are to bulky,i think driving gloves are hideous,i do wear sunglasses when needed though.

I used to wear driving gloves when I passed my test in 1982 I had a 1976
Fiat 128 with a bakerlite steering wheel.
They were brown leather with holes in the knuckles I thought they were cool at the time but a leather steering wheel has made them redundant.
I still have them in my draw marked history.

Also wear my photocromatic Serengetti sunnies on bright sunny days as well.
Have had them for app 20 years and bought them after I broke my Ray Ban driving glasses when I learned via a radio programe that Serengettis were worn by the first astronauts.

PS I am not a yuppie
