Hi,

I am planning to buy a car. And I need your help to know about the documentation rules to be followed by a car owner. The documents which I am aware of include driving license, proof of registration and insurance. Is there any other formality to drive/own a car? And what are the documents required if we want to lend/sell a vehicle?

I already have a license and what should I do to get insured, while buying a car? Is it good to consult an insurance company directly? Or can I *Web link removed as per our terms and conditions* Which do you think would be better?

What is the difference between the two? How much the brokers charge for this kind of services? If you have any previous experience, please be kind to share it. It would definitely help me make a fast decision.

Thanks in advance!

I have no idea on the legality of driving in Canada, but here in the UK all information can be looked up easily on the Gov website.
