Do you take out extras?

We get insurance, then we are offered legal cover, gap insurance, hire car cover, guaranteed value insurance.

Do you ever take out these extra cover options? What are your thoughts on the optional extras?

I always used to take out legal cover but I've discovered there are so many companies out there crying out to help you with your claim for free there seems to be no point?!

I have a few extras on my policy such as hire car cover & guaranteed value. The guaranteed value needs to be increased again actually. The company I use seem to be adding more bits in as standard cover which is nice.
