Do you do most of your car repairs yourself or do you use a garage?

Which things do you go DIY and which do you take to the garage? Is it down to time, tools and space or lack of expertise or confidence?

I'm doing a lot of diy stuff now I have found a ramp hire place. I like the satisfaction of not paying labour rates, even for jobs like atf flush. If you take your time and make sure you know exactly what you're doing you can do loads now, with YouTube vids and car forum advice.
I do get yearly service at an Indy tho, to get the stamps for when I trade in.

Have had issues over the years with faulty work so I do as much as I can so there is no one to blame if something happens.

For example I had the front 4 pot calipers overhauled before a track day and found the pedal feel not quite right and bled the brakes when I got home to find air in the lines.

I have SPEED BLEEDER nipples and the job is a 1 man/person operation as i simply remove the wheels fit a yard or metre or so of clear hose to the valve loosen it 1/2 turn or so and pump the pedal and check the hose for bubbles and close the valve etc
