divertor valve help !!

just fitted a new divertor valve to my a3 ... it came with different springs a soft medium and hard also came with 2 spacers im not sure what 1 is needed for my car can any1 help !!!

also what are the benfits of havin this divertor valve ?????????
 
the different springs and spacers are for different boost pressures. on your car it will be the green spring;) then with a stage 1 map some leave it as the green spring others have added 1 of the spacers (ask your mapper when you get the remap done which option is best for there map)
then when you go stage 2 map the yellow spring is advised cause iirc the yellow spring is for 20psi
 
softer spring. the firmer springs are for higher boost pressures which isnt actuall linked to the pressure from the turbo


startwith the soft and if it doesnt feel right add the spacers 1 at a time before moving up to the next spring
 
this may be a really stupid question but is the recirc/diverter valve (007p or similar) the same as the n249 boost pressure control valve?! and if not are they linked/where are they located? cheers
