What tuning myths out there would you like to see dispelled?

1) Big exhausts are not necessarily better. Flow rate is far more important than bore size.

What ones can you think of?

I can think of 2.

1) Those stupid damn Electric Superchargers
2) Piggyback chips that actually do more harm than good.

air filters like k&n ect that are not done right and just suck hot air in

but i think them 4 are the main ones every new driver things of doing

I disagree. Me and my mates have never done or considered any of the above.

"Lexus lights look good." Would probably be a good one.

well you knew what i ment

and another one putting alloys on to save weight
most of the time when this is done you gain weight as you put a bigger wider wheel on
compaired to the skinning steel one

Ebay "Vortex Generators" dont work. Just because they fit them to Evo's it doesnt mean your Corsa/Saxo will keep up with one. :p

Hmm tough one this , defo "ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGERS" and those stupid 20 pence resistors in a box, sold on ebay for scotch locking into your maf wireing , god those ads really wind me up !!!!
