Hello,
Due to heavy rains, the ECU box on my B7 was flooded. Hopefully only a relay was blown and it was changed.
My question is, can I drill 2 drain holes to avoid this happening again ? Or is there a risk of having moisture etc ?

Can it be repositioned or can it have some sort of shield over it to deflect water away ?

Sorry if this appears a dumb question, but how did water get in? Aren't they sealed?

It would be very difficult to deflect the water away based on the design Audi has done..

It should, one screw missing at the back... Probably done by the ex owner.

I want to be on the safe side, my question is, is it an issue to have 2 holes in the ECU box for water drainage ?
