Hi people


I have am driving a CLIO III 2.0 Sport, what difference in power will it make if I remove the Catalytic converter and replacing it with a small straight pipe? will it better the performance or worsen it.

You will probably get about 4bhp from a cat removal. A sports cat gives a similar gain but the car will still pass your countries emissions tests (if there are any.)
 
Thanx for the reply, so I won't loose power rather gain some. There's a sensor right behind my cat that I will leave in place and not even touch. Won't the car pick up the air to feul mixes are wrong and make the car perform bad ?
