Dashbulb Wattage

i can't find the correct wattage for dashboard ilumination bulbs, they are supposed to be 2w but i can only find 1.2w or 2.2w.

can i get away with using one of those instead? watt can i do? :wink: (couldn't resist-or. i'm full of 'em today)

I'd stick in the 2.2 that is about the nearest and .2 of a watt is nothing!

i'll know if they work when i see smoke.

i was fitting parcel shelf speakers and 3 mins earlier i replaced the boot courtesy light...and saw mysterious smoke appearing :shock:

shouldn't be asking this because i was good at physics....

do i need to worry about wattage if i replace the bulb with an led?

like a div i lost the webpage with the one i wanted.

found them: red, yellow, blue or green or xenon white

quite partial to green at the moment decisions

could anyone advise me?
