This has been approved for a long time, they've just been running massively behind schedule. It should all have been done/completed originally by September.

Not quite true as the Dart Tag will be no more. You'll need to migrate your account to a Dart Charge account. The tag will vanish as this is all to be done by number plate recognition. You'll obviously still be able to pre-pay your Dart Charge account in the same way you pre-paid your Dart Tag account, but you will need to migrate the account online.

Yeah, we have to register our cars. Bit of a pain as we often lend the tags to friends. But as we have an account it is simple tomigrate and there is no risk of forgetting to pay whch can be expensive.
