Didn't chevrolet take over Daewoo?;) If not use the other makes and models forums and when there are a few I'll make you up your own forum.

Parts, especially tuning parts are pretty hard to get for the Daewoo. I'll see if I can find anything around for you.

Awesome, cheers fella =] Might be getting a bit creative with tuning parts I think and buying close fits and modifying them. Should be fun. Off to pick the car up now =]

It's not really worth the time. I'm losing so much faith in this car idea. I'm saving money while I decide what to do. think I'm going to go for a BMW 318. At least I can get parts for that, not to mention rear wheel drive.

you dont get much power wise from a norm aspirated engine, but more torque which makes the difference.
if you go for a bmw 318 go for 143bhp engine as it does nigh on 40 mpg and is still tuneable, bmw designed this engine to be very economical and still have decent power...very nice car.
