my car creaks when turning full lock to the right, don't really hear anything when i turn to the left if there is noise its noticeably quieter. any ideas? please don't say new steering rack :(

Try lubricating the suspension joints. I had something Like this after I jet washed the wheels, as soon as I put grease on the problem went away again. I'll be betting it is one of the lower bushes.

I used to have all sorts of noises like that on my old escort. I found the best way to fix them was to turn the radio up and make the noises go away. That was untill my bearing went, and even on full blast, I could still here the squeeking noise!!

hopefully! how do i lubricate the joints, im guessing a bit of taking apart will be required?

Just turn the wheels to full lock, you should have access to the suspension joints. Apply some spray on grease, switch lock and do the other bits you couldn't reach on the first pass.

Just be careful not to get grease on your brakes!
