Covered in red dust

Anyone else find their car was covered in red dust over this weekend?

It looks so dirty now, I hosed it down but the drizzle we had seemed to set the red dust into the paint work!

Someone said it's dust from the Sahara blowing over but I suspect it is the amount of local building projects on the go with new homes going up all around us!

Nothing down here buddy! A year or 2 ago and huge dust cloud came over us and a lot of cars were covered in dirt.
