Cordoba 1.6..

Hey, I'm kind of new to the whole modding thing so I've bought a '99 seat cordoba s with a 1.6 engine. I'm wondering, first off, with an engine this size would it be worth getting an induction kit or is there no need?

Hi Sam, stick with a high performance panel filter if it is a bit more power you are after. The plus is they are washable so you will save in the long run.

As waynne said really, that and CAT back exhaust and a remap should see you a comfortable 10-12bhp. not a huge gain but on your engine the percentage of gain on the overal power will be noticable and shouldn't cost more than about £500 i'd say

Thanks guys . I was tinkering about with it yesterday and I found a big stone trapped in my air intake pipe so the performance has improved already lol. Is it worth getting a stainless steel intake pipe to improve the performance?
