conversion of a 2sz auto transmission using a 1sz manual gearbox

Hi family l have a 1.3l Yaris with a 2sz engine but its giving me gearbox problems as it uses an auto cvt gear box ,l was wondering if a manual gear box from a 1sz engine can be fitted on the car.

It should do check the part numbers, I think you'll find they are exactly the same, there was little difference between the first generation and second generation engines, the donor engine size is more important though, some of the higher powered versions had different gear ratios.
