Hi,

I know how to size a turbo for my engine after doing my homework.
But what I want to know is how to size a secondary stage in a 2 stage compound setup.

For example if I wanted to make 200 hp I would need around 19.2lb/min of air for my car which the primary stage would have to be capable of making all of that on it's own but the bit I'm struggling with is how much air would the secondary stage need to flow and what pressure would the primary need to run the 19.2 lb/min I know the secondary usually runns more pressure than the primary

My engine has a VE of about 0.52 (I know very low...) so need big boost to flow the required air so compounding is the way to go for me as unless I got for a GT40 (way to big for my application) then I need a series setup to create the required boost pressure as there isn't really any single turbos that will boost that high,

any help in my sizing? I plan to have the secondary as a supercharger :)
