Clutch gone on laguna II

would anybody know of a cheapish place or person that could change the clutch on my laguna II 2003 model 1.8 16v cheers dan.

Parts can be found relatively cheap at GSF or Euro Car Parts, but I wouldn't recommend a cheap installation.

That's unusual on the petrol ones. The diesels are reknowned for chewing up clutches. Are you sure it's not just a sticky release bearing?

It wont go into gear unless engine is off and when i release clutch its seems as though ive not released it if you get what i mean and also slipped a couple of times cheers dan.

When my mate clutch went on his R5gtt last year it was the total opposite of what your saying.
His would go into every gear even without the clutch pedal being pressed.
You sure it's not a selector problem somewhere along the lines?

Or infact just as HDi says the release bearing could be gone.

Or perhaps a hydraulic leak from master or slave cylinder.

Had the clutch and slave cylinder replaced and now have a lower biting point on clutch pedal.
