clutch fair price

hi.

what would a fair price be for a replacement clutch to be supplied and fitted for a 2001 2,0 vtec ( say by Mr Clutch ! )

Depends, I don't know the Vtec Engine layout. If your lucky, and they dont need to move the engine, should get it done in 4-5 hours labour. (most garages at 35-45 quid per hour plus vat) so labour costs will be around £220. If they have to move the engine then your looking at around 8-10 hours labour.

I've heard nothing but bad about places like Mr Clutch. You'd be best off trying to find a good independent Honda garage.
