cluster gauge not working!!!!

help!!!! my cluster gauge red pointers are not lighting up at night. i cannot see how fast im going and it sometimes flickers from bright to dim. the recent owner had a major car accident (which he didnt tell me and cleaned the title) and he replaced the speedometer, fuel gauge, and tach with oem white ones. then he fused them together with the ignition wires. they light up fine but all my red pointers do not work. and also my dash fan, ac, all buttons wont light up. there DEAD!!! NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!! all the fuse are checked under the hood and below the driver seat are all working. THERES SOMETHING STRANGE IN THE NEIGBORHOOD!!!!! WHO YA GONNA CALL?

scrap yard and get another cluster ?

yeah. but i need to test it out with another cluster just to make sure the problem is the cluster. iono. thanks anyway.

Sounds like faulty wiring to me.
