Cleaning Suede/Alcantara?

Hi all,

As per title. What is the best method for cleaning suede/alcantara without ruining it? Has anybody used anything in particular?

Depends on the stain really. Carplan interior valet is a spray on scrub in and vac off product that does a really good job but as always you need to check for spotting and colour fastness. I'd recommend giving a new or clean interior a quick coat of scotchguard or similar which really does repel the stains and marks. I did mine when I first got it and water still beads on the carpets over a year later.

No real stains, just a good few years of use and abuse. I tend to keep the interior quite clean as it is but don't usually bother to actually clean it so was planning to. Just didn't want to use something that would ruin the suede.
