Clean Wiper Blade Marks

Hi,

The wiper blades has marked my cars Wind Screen and i need to get rid of that. does any one no how is can be removed without causing further damaged to the windscreen.

Any help of tips is highly apprecaited.

The common glass polish is cerium oxide. It is not easy to do and you have to be very careful not to make the glass hot as you put a buffer over it.

There are a few kits around for this but I can't vouch for the quality of them though. Scratch repair kits at Amazon

Try using vinegar, also what state are your wipers ..

replacing them would help it not happening in the future

i have tried vinger but no luck, i heard Cutting Compound(used to polish cars) also help but havn't tried. have some one used it and i have changed the wiper blades with new once.

Ordinary cutting paste is not hard/abrasive enough to cut through the glass - I've tried it.

even glass cutting compound will take a lot of work to polish out even by machine. as your windscreen is a laminate of plastics and glass then you can also warp the screen byusing a machine for too long due to the heat
