Classic scoobie help needed

Coming back from fitting some stickers on sunday and car decided to lose power, had been driving for about 40 minutes on motorway, some of which was in heavy downpour

boost started spiking up to 20psi then lost power, pulled over and car was starting but really bad fluctuation on idle, managed to drive it home but was spluttering.

checked dispacks and one wasnt fireing, got that changed today, starts up fine, but then starts spluttering again.

no black or white smoke,

any ideas???????

gonna go check plugs now but tbh i dont think they are that old.

sounds like the MAF may be dodgy try disconecting it see if it runs any smoother. it might however through up an EM light

will try that in the morn, have just replaced plugs and running loads better, revs up and runs fine when done slowish, but when driven hard gets to bout 4-4.5k and splutters abit.

will see what happens tomorrow when i try disconecting the maf

Any news on this 2Fast?
Does it hold boost? My mums Scoob had a similar prob and it was a split boost pipe. Also when I think about it my Ti had those symptoms too. Just before the Turbo seized! :sad2:
