Hi guys, is there any old classic cars that anyone likes?
I was looking through old photo's tonight and came across my dad and his sunbeam rapier convertable. I forgot how nice this old car used to be.

Triumph Stag - awesome engine - just a bit reliable. Rover 220 Gti's are quite nice. Deloreans are way cool!

Old Jaguars are really good too.

Have you noticed how cars go from curvey (MGB, Beetles, Mini) to angular (Lotus Esprit, Volvo - All pre 1990!) and are starting to get curvy again (New Beetle, Audi TT) Methinks they are running out of ideas

One reason why I enjoy going to classic car shows, takes me back to when cars were real cars with metal and chrome! No need for a laptop to see what's wrong with them, a light bulb was all you needed!

I have a soft spot for the old MGs like the original TF and TCs, proper end of WW2 RAF pilot type cars the TC!

Jensen Interceptor.

Rover P6 3500 V8.

Escort RS2000 as driven by Ray Doyle in The Professionals.

To name but a few.

Have to agree with Stanford too, cars were so much easier to work on then, besides having far more simple systems there was also so much room in the engine bay.

Since being into BMWs I've developed quite an appreciation for the E9.

Classic big American cars with massive engines making lots of noise with as less technology as possible ;)
