I have noticed so many new cars that are covered in chrome.
Some Asian off roaders are covered in it.
Do you like it ? Is it making s comeback.

when i went to a show all the ford owners engine bays were full of it it was to much

Not altogether sure that chrome ever went away, it is very labour intensive to keep clean but for many it is so rewarding to see that particular gleam on the car or under the bonnet.
Thankfully Audi saw fit to remove the chrome from my car, the grill and other areas are all blacked out, it looks much better than the Chrome option as standard.
I really don't like chrome, I think it is dated and probably only ever looks right on classic cars.

it can look ok providing you dont go overboard with it. a few touches here and there can look good but not too much. use it under the bonnet and for the odd cosmetic accent but thats all. definately do not go the same way saab did with the sue pollard spectacles round the headlights
